Bio Annie Lemieux is a student trumpeter and volunteer for Marcinkiewicz trumpets and mouthpieces. She was a student at Juilliard pre-college from 2006-2009, and has played in several youth and community orchestras in Maryland. Recently, she has participated in the Chosen Vale International Trumpet Seminar, and has played in master classes hosted by Edward Carroll, Mark Gould, and Raymond Mase. Currently, she studies with David Kellert, and she had also studied with Kevin Cobb, Patrick Whitehead, Jesse Tubb, and Chris Gekker. She is a past winner of the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) youth competition, and recently performed the new sonata by Thomas Reeves, which she commissioned, with Thomas in a New Works recital at the 2009 ITG conference. She has also performed new music by Eric Ewazen at ITG and Chosen Vale. She can be heard on the soundtrack for the award-winning new independent film "Ready? OK!" co-starring Carrie Preston (from HBO-TV's "True Blood" and Michael Emerson (from ABC-TV's "Lost").

The new movie "Ready? OK!" has won numerous awards and will be available on DVD early in 2009 (trailer high-resolution trailer You-Tube). Last December, several Juilliard pre-college students and I recorded solo instrumental parts for the film from a score by composer Lance Horne at Outloud Audio in New York.
